Dee Nash is a garden writer, speaker and coach, born and raised in Oklahoma. She lives with her husband, children, three dogs, two cats and twenty chickens on 7.5 acres in her home state. She gardens approximately an acre and grows vegetables, roses, daylilies and other heat-loving plants.
She’s gluten and casein intolerant meaning she can’t eat wheat or dairy, and she often reviews books on gluten intolerance
Dee is the author of The 20/30-Something Garden Guide: A No-Fuss, Down and Dirty, Gardening 101 for Anyone Who Wants to Grow Stuff (St. Lynn’s Press 2014).
She’s a frequent contributor of words and photographs to Oklahoma Gardener magazine. She’s also written for Organic Gardening magazine, Fine Gardening, flower magazine, The Edmond Sun, The Oklahoman, Oklahoma Horticultural Society’s Horticulture Horizons, and The Daylily Journal.
Dee has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism–Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis in Botany. She’s a member of the Garden Writers Association, the Oklahoma Horticultural Society, and the Central Oklahoma Hemerocallis Society, along with Great Garden Speakers.
